You’ll love sitting on the rear deck listening to the birds as you sip your favourite drink and watch the spectacular sunsets across the river and distant mountain range. Sometimes you may spot the black cockatoos, water dragons, echidna, possums and other native wildlife thriving on our riverbank.
There is a sunny patio at the front of the studio, a courtyard garden and fenced yard adjacent to your off-street carpark. Access to a fire pit area beside a pond provides another space to create your own memorable experience. The studio is a separate building yet attached to the main home via a stairwell, so offers privacy. The homestead is a historic building built in around 1880 and has been lovingly restored and an extension added.
The studio has a bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities and toaster. There is a very comfortable queen size bed, leather lounge, Smart TV with Wi-Fi and a modern ensuite and walk in robe. There are robes for your use, hair dryer. Enjoy the natural setting with views from your bed across the river.
West Kempsey with its quirky shops, post office, cafes, pubs and library is only 1.3 kms away, an easy 15 minute walk. You can take a walk over the railway pedestrian bridge to visit Sam and Amanda at the Bucket Brewery (a local brewer) which is approximately a 20 minute walk. The studio is close to the hospital, perfect for those visiting patients or for work/training at the hospital.
West Kempsey is an ideal place to explore the surrounding Macleay Valley. You can travel up river to the townships of Bellbrook (a heritage listed township) and Willawarrin. Have a hearty meal at one of their pubs. Downriver offers the river and seaside villages of Frederickton, Gladstone, Smithtown, Crescent Head, Hat Head, South West Rocks and Stuarts Point. Each offers unique experiences from dining, shopping to swimming, surfing and hiking.
